The generic processes are processes are designed to support telemedicine solutions. Generic processes and functionalities are not specific to a particular component and can be used in any number of telemedicine solutions. They are like general-purpose processes.
The main eHealth generic processes are
Plan Definition Management - Plan Definitions can be managed and administered by Clinical Administrators.
Care Plan management - Based on the Plan Definitions Care Managers can apply CarePlan to citizen citizens and assign the Careplan to Care Team and/or clinicians.

After successful validation, the eHealth infrastructure perform performs automated processing and perform , calculations, and triaging based on preconfigured rules and the submitted measurements and responses. The automatic processing generes generates communications, task tasks and notification notifications to the Care Team and/or clinicians.
The eHealth infrastructure provides some supporting processes, such as Service, Support and Logistics. Where telemedicine Telemedicine solutions can use the Service, Support and Logistics functionality to order medical devices and services, and report problems.
